Default requirements for electives

hi everyone,

i'm a final year student.i will go to the us in this may (because won green card lottery and my visa will be expired at end of may)

i'm planning to take step 1 at june,july it means i'll take step 1 while i'm in us.just after, i'm planning to arrange some electives but i will be in us at that time.

so my question is when i'm leaving my home country in may what documents do i need to take with me to us?

I applied to Diversity Visa Lottery. So,i won the lottery on my 3rd try.
