Hi. For step 1, people usually read for 6 months on average. Kaplan, UW, pathoma or golijan are the standard books (in addition, BRS physio and ethics cases by dr fischer). You will need 5-6 months of solid prep, so it might take longer if you are studing along with your course. You are not in a rush as you have a lot of time till 4th year, so you can do it if u plan well.

Default USMLE Coach

Through years of trial-and-error, tweaking, and extensive research, we have developed an effective and efficient Step 1 preparation formula.

Other programs deliver a high-yield lecture series, charge you thousands of dollars and send you off on your own wishing you the best. Here at PSP we guide you through the process, using resources you likely already own, and meet with you once a week until you pass Step-one. We ensure you are 100% prepared and 100% confident to pass your exam before you even set foot through the exam room door.

No guessing games, no wandering aimlessly through your books. We give you a roadmap to success that you simply will not find anywhere else! And if you're ever stuck on material, confused about a questions, or simply need some encouragement, we are here for you.

Our program allows you to self-study. You would meet with a tutor once a week. You can request more meetings if you feel it necessary.

We have so much confidence in our program that we are willing to offer our students a Passing Score Guarantee!

Cost: $500US (You can pay $25/week and cancel anytime)

The first meeting is free.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
