Listening low step 1 score(210) ..in need of suggestions.

Hi guys,
This is a final year medical student. YOG 2013. got my step 1 score recently...very depressed to see that its only a 210.I't's very very unexpected. I was dreaming of residency in IM 2014 . I would be very grateful if you all can tell me the actual scenario and my chances?
I have 2 months of USCE in IM and good LORs.
Should I go ahead and take step 2 ck and try to score better or will it be just a waste of money ? This is a very confusing situation for me ... Please help!

Default Don't give up

Hi there,

You should not be disappointed in any way. YOU HAVE PASSED THE STEP 1 EXAM!! That is a major deal on its own! Plus you say you have 2 USCEs and good LORs in the field that you eventually will apply for. That really does count for a lot. You should start studying for the CK and aim for the stars! I know you can do it

come on, this score is not that bad! if you have good score in ck, and you pass cs it could be very great. continue to hit and hit, until you get it. if it won't happen today, maybe , tommorrow. it's the life. everybody have this hard f.ucking way to come accross'. the difference with the person who match or not will be the person who will hang on and fight until the end. so apply on the match, and continue to increase your cv with usce! if you don't do it, for sure you will not have it.

by the way, what kind of usce do you have?
