Default Clinical clerkship for residency after completing Post grad in home country

Hi, Am a radiologist from India, completed postgrad last year. Studying for usmle now. Was seeking for fellowship but as its getting tougher aiming for residency in radiology/ nuclear medicine. Can someone please tell me is clinical clerkship essential after all this to apply for residency??? Or its may not be necessary.

hi!
do you think there are chances for IMGs for fellowships, if they do residency in their own countries? do you know people who have done so far?

Well which brach are you talking about? I know of ppl doing so in the field of radiology, anesthesia..but radiology is getting tougher now. They are not giving 4 years continuation in one hospital. What have you specialised in?

Okay.
Then worry about fellowship.
Where have u graduated from?
Well as far as i know surgery residency there is very tough. Anyways luck can strike to anyone anytime. All the best. I am unaware of surgery fellowships as I am a radiologist.
