Default Certifications as med students Surgical tech, Medical assistant

Hi people,

i was wondering,

1- do BLS, ALS, surgical tech certification matter in any way for the match?

2- Is there a way to get certified as a medical assistant or surgical tech or something like that while still in med school?

hope to hear you folks

It helps and may matter. Certified as a technician can be done, you just have to find a course, I don't believe there is an issue being a student while being certified in something that doesn't require you to be a graduate.
