Help Another "what are my chances", sorry guys!

i am an img who will be applying for 2012 match in psychiatry,

my credentials are- step 1-246 (99)

step 2 ck- 240(99) both ist attempt.
step 3 planned in december.( before rol submission)
usce- 5 months externship in psychiatry with 3 uslors, all waived and within 6 months.

9 months work experience in psychiatry in home country.(india)

interested in only psychiatry and application shows that to some degree.

my only problem is that i probably would not have the cs result till october 12,2011 and therefore not be certified till then-how much would this effect me?

and yes.i need visa: (.

From what I have always hear, Psychiatry is very easy to get in.
Let's see what the staff members tell you about it.
Good luck with everything.
And don't worry to much. You'll see you will be fine.

As you pointed out, your only weakness is the delayed CS score.

I'd advise you to do everything you can to do the CS earlier.

Applying in September without the CS results puts you at a lower competition level and applying later in November is even worse.

If you can't prepone the CS, try to contact the residency programs one by one and assure them that you will take the CS soon (also mention that in ERAS).
