Default Did not match? New Bill in MO may offer opportunities


There is a recent bill that was signed in the state of Missouri for non-matched applicants. The position is called "assistant physician" and you work under and in collaboration with another residency trained physician.
It was recently signed and law will go into effect August 28th but there are still some protocols that needs to be addressed.

Yes. I saw that a couple of weeks ago while I was in the U.S. So apparently if you graduated from med school you can work as an assistant physician. Only in Missouri though. right?

Will this affect IMGs as well?? I thought that worked only for AMGs. Because as IMGs, even if you are ECFMG certified, you cannot practice medicine in the US until you have completed a specialty training
