Help Caribbean medical students/graduates- need your help

Since Carribean school don't have summer holidays like other US schools do. and we do take off before starting rotations to study for step 1. How are you ppl mentioning that in application? should we consider the prepping break as summer break and say that we didn't take any breaks at all ?I need your help.

Default Was your training extended or interrupted?

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking of checking the box for "was your training extended or interrupted?" and in the box explaining Step 1 and Step 2. Is this advised? My time off was about 5 months for step 1 and 2 months for step 2.

You just say yes, and for the reason why, just say you were preparing for and sitting for whatever step you're taking. For example, I had a break between my 2nd and 3rd year (8/3-12/1/13) so I listed those dates. it should be fine. it should also be on your MSPE from your school
