Question Late LoR submission

I'm IMG, done with the steps & got my ECFMG certificate, I'm applying next match, the thing is, I'm still doing my observership now & shall continue till next month, so I might be getting the LOR in mid August.
I have several questions !
- I'm not waiving my right to see LOR, so, I'll send the letters to ECFMG by mail then ECFMG will upload them to my account ,right?
- am I going to be late for the Sept 1st deadline? how long does it take for ECFMG to upload the LOR?!
any help appreciated.

thanx & good luck everyone.

If you waived your rights, then you should not send the LoR yourself, the letter writer should send it to ERAS.

1-if you are not waiving your letter you will have to mail it yourself as you mentioned.
2-uploading take usually 2-3 weeks depending on the "first come first served" waiting list. You may send each program 3 LORs as a start and then you will update them by your US LOR which will give your app a kick forward where it will has the chance for a second revesion.
Make sure you apply on september 1st whatever creds available.

thanx applicantGuide,
I read somewhere in this forum that u can reserve a slot for the LOR before they r actually uploaded, does that mean that PD will see that I do have LOR but they r not visible to them yet? will that buy me some time untill the letters are uploaded?!

Yes they can know that you assignd for them a pending document, so when ERAS upload it they will be notified.

Any update on your profile will make your name blurring as sunshine on the PDWS ;-), don't worry about this part, they got you!
