Kids Getting into Pediatric Residency

Is pediatrics hard to get.
step 1 :- 86
cs passed
will be giving ck in aug., so my sore will be delayed... , will be applying late too..have experience in IM, trying to get a pediatrics experience..If you could please help that should i even apply to pedia or leave.visa not required...plzz help

Relatively easy to get...with ur score: possibly yes...get some peds experience or LoRs...good luck

1-if you applied late September to Peds, you migh not get any interviews, Do apply on September 1st or postpone it to the next year after you get peds experience.
2-Peds is relatively competitive and usually requires higher scores and previous peds experience, howver in your case your no need of visa may help you. My advice apply to IM as back up WIDLEY.
