Default Programs that dont sponsor visa, can accept visa sponsored by ecfmg???

Hi guys,

I am reviewing many programs I am an IMG certfied, with step 3 pass all first attempts, some programs say they dont sponsor visa, but this means that tehy dont accept visa sponsored by ecfmg? i emailed some of them and got vage replies, please can you help me to clarify this issue?

All the J1 visas as sponsored by the ECFMG. The hospitals can sponsor the H1B visa directly. Or they can not be interested at all in sponsor them or get trainees with visas sponsored by the ECFMG, it is just internal policy.

but how can i understand when a programs says: we don't sponsor any kind of visa? that is means that they are not be able to accept j1 sponsored by ECFMG????

No means no, they don't sponsor nor accept ecfmg-sponsored visas
