Listening Application good enough for Peds

Hi,

My step 1 score- 97/225
CS- pass
CK on 1st aug
1 month of pediatric elective at cornell
2 very good U.S. LoRs and 2 great Indian LoRs

What can I expect this year in Pediatrics.

Your credentials are very good for an IMG.

If you have less than 3 years since graduation then you might get at least 10 interviews if you apply to 150+ programs.

I agree with Sabio, but my usual advice is apply to a IM as backup as well because Peds can be sometimes unpredictable.

I've always heard that Peds is comparatively easier to get and it is what I've always wanted to do. I have no medicine LoRs, no USCE in medicine. Am I taking a very big risk by applying just for Peds and MedPeds? I'm scared now

I graduated this year. According to you , will I be taking a risk by just applying for Peds n MedPeds?
I have no safety net. No Med USCE , no med LoRs .....

No, you should be good.
Peds is relatively easy to get specially when you are serious about it. Most folks who fail to get into peds is just because they don't take it seriously and apply to it as backup and so they get caught in the interview.
But in your case, you have done peds USCE and peds LoRs and therefore it's evident that you are determined about peds and this will be noticed by program directors.
Am sure you'll get at least 10 interviews.

and if his year of graduation is either less than 5 year or more than 5 years then approximately how many interviews he can get????
