Certificate Old LoRs and Copy of DSF and Coversheet

I have a couple of LoRs from US docs but the date is almost a year ago and plus it doesn't have my AAMC id. So can i like scan n send the copy of the letter, DSF and cover letter (filled and signed) to them so they could print it out and send the original updated LoR to ECFMG or should the cover letter and DSF too be original??

if u can get updated lor's from ur attendings with date and aamc id, that will be the ideal thing. even if u cant they will still be considered valid

It's better to sign the DSF and coversheet and "mail" them to your letter writers instead of "emailing" them.

Also, as divumalhotra said you can ask them to date their letters with a newer date. But if that's not a possible, then not a problem don't worry about it.
