Default Received an invite on Monday but still no response from the program coordinator.

Hello, everyone. I received a invitation last Monday. I responded 16 Hrs after receiving the email. But I still haven't received a reply from the program. What do you think is going on? What shall I do?

First thing first, you have to check emails more frequently. Sixteen hours is inexcusable. Secondly, have you tried calling the program. There are only two possibilities here:

They may have given your spot to someone else. It has already happened to a couple of people this season.

OR

They could be taking their sweet time to respond back.

Both are equally possible. Let's just hope its the latter in your case. Stay on top on things, this is no time to be slacking. Good luck.

Keep trying. That's all you can do at this point. Make sure you have a good reason in your back pocket that you can pull out just in case they throw the good old "what took you so long"? type of question at you.

People are checking their emails, neurotically, every few minutes. If possible try to check and respond as soon as possible. Looks like they send more invites than slots...
