Default Is the "Slowness" of this week normal?

Hello everyone, I had slowest week regarding IV/rejections / acknowledgments for Internal Medicine

2 rejections and 1 ack.

Is that normal comparing to you? To last year?

I applied to huge # of programs (180+)

Yeah, last week was quiet for me too.

Anyone with friends who went through this process last year---when did they get most of the interviews? Was it one per week or was it random?

When did it stop coming last year?

Just rejections. Not as much as last week.
Sigh.

Here's to a good next week.

I applied last week, after I got my step 1 results
applied IM only 60+ programs
a friend of mine applied late in Nov 2009 and he got 6 IVs
I'm not sure if I'll still get IVs with my late application this year

I think it is a bit late, but expect your IV to be late after people start cancelling their IVs.
