Default A question !!

Hey guys, first of all thanks a lot for the help that i got from this forum to clear usmle steps.

My question is :

I am doing basic science research right now. I cleared my step 1 and step 2 ck with score 234 and 239 respectively, during my internship period. I cleared my step 2 cs too.
I do have a green card.
I don't have any LORs yet. ( I graduated in 2014 march ) But i am going to apply next year as i don't have final medical diploma ( so not ECFMG certified ).
My question is, What am i suppose to do in this 11 months period ?.
Is research is best option with 2 observership in-between ?.
Or i should do something else ? Not interested in giving step 3.
Please help

No one knows the exact formula to match, but almost everyone agrees on four very important factors to be considered by programs:

1- Good USMLE scores: you have good scores.

2- Visa Status: you do not need visa so you are also good in this side.

3- Year of graduation: you are a recent graduate so you are good.

3- US experience: you lack on this side. So you need to have clinical US experience, earthier observership in a university hospital or clinical research. Get US LORs in these experiences you are good to go next year match.

Good luck.
