Looks like there aren't that many people on here with a CS ATTEMPT. Hopefully, things would start looking better for us over the next couple of weeks

step 1 230, ck 235, CS on second attempt, 2 years of research, and so far 2 interviews, both with contacts, and A LOT of rejections (at least 15 so far).

It also depends on your YOG and whether you need a visa. It looks like people with GC and YOG

Guys, my creds are 243, 242, 1 month elective at harvard , 2 US lors but I failed CS in august. Didn't apply this season.yog is 2014

You guys are facing the season so you are in a better position to answer. Shall I continue ?? I am looking for research positions and have failed till now. Thinking of applying next year with step 3 but I need to know , is it worth it. I don't come from a family of means and doing. all of this will mean another major major expenditure on my parents part.

I think you should continue. With your scores and electives at Harvard, it wouldn't be diificult for you to get interviews. Make sure you get excellent scores on your step 3, and also make sure that your LORs mention that you have excellent CIS skills. Dont give up!

i think better gor you would be to rotate in imgfriendly hospitals just before the start ofseason and during te season, and build contacts. if you rotate in 4-5 hospitals it would turn in 4-5 calls if u build good contacts.
