To be honest with you, it is not that competitive score for any specilty.
It totally depends on your USCE exp, LORs, where you're from, research exp and so on...
Ironically, you can get into any specialty if you have a strong conection.
Please take a look at the NRMP result when you have time.
GL.

I Agree with the above poster, not competitive for any specialty. I'd say you are at a disadvantage for any of the ROADS specialties but IM/Fam/Peds/Psych/Neuro can definitely be within reach if you strengthen your application. Being a fresh grad is good, next issues would be performance on step2, visa, usce and lors...as you can see, you have opportunities to improve your cv (also includes research, etc).

On the flipside, you have an average score on your first attempt
There are people who have worse scores or who have failed. Most of the programs I've seen on websites state that they have a cutoff score of 220 for internal medicine (more than a handful are anywhere from 210+ or only state 1st attempt as a filter criteria). I've seen a select few with a minimum of 225 and only one I can remember that said 230. If you improve significantly on step 2 (240+) that will make your application more competitive. You score isn't going to stand out, but that's not always bad because it means you also aren't going to stand out in a bad way either. Good luck

I would say the biggest factor for people in your score range is whether or not you need a Visa. I've seen fresh USIMG grads with similar scores get 10+ IVs in FM which is great.

I suggest that you read the newest data on IMGs matching in the states that is found on the NRMP website. Read the following article in particular.

NRMP and ECFMG Charting Outcomes in the Match for International Medical Graduates Revised
