Default Chances of matching, step 1 (235)

Hi, I've been following this forum for a few weeks now and trying to get a gauge of where I stand based on people applying this year. I'm applying for the match in 2016 in IM and FM. Thanks.

Step 1:235
Step 2 CK and CS will be taken next summer
USCE: all USCE rotations
need visa (carib img)

Default Research

its a good score if you score higher in CK and Pass CS on 1st attempt you should be good to go.. with that if you can get into research it is a plus point..
good luck.

235 is good since its above national average but you also have to do well in other steps. add quality observaships to the good scores and you are good to go.
Don't waste your time looking for or doing research

I'm just worried because I'll be needing a J1 visa and this year's match seems difficult. But thank you for the responses and good luck with the match.
