Visiting a Program in Person (instead of calling)
I live in a part of the U.S. that has many programs that I would be applying too. I have questions to ask re: IMG acceptance, etc (typical questions you would call the program for). Would it make a good impression if I came in to the program in person to talk to the secretary, or would that look too aggressive?
I want to do my best to show the Programs that I am a competent individual with great people skills, so I think talking to them in person would be good to that end. I know the interview is where you show these attributes, but I am afraid that I won't even be called in if I don't separate myself from the pack.
