Question One day volunteering in ERAS!

Hi guys!
Thank you always for being there to help.. i have couple of questions;

1) I volunteered in health Drive organized by American Red Cross where I performed various procedures. It was for one day.

2) During my med school I volunteered at international conferences for which I got certificate although I did not present anything.

I am not sure where to place these as volunteering section needs (from - to) date.

If the volunteer activity was for one day then you put the duration as one day for example from Feb-1 to Feb-2 2011.

Even if you did not present anything in a conference,, the fact you have volunteered is enough, so you can put it as volunteer experience in ERAS

I was wondering the same thing about volunteering for one day. I have a few of these but ERAS does't have a column for date, only month and year. So I am still wondering how best to enter this. I have entered the same month in start and end date but then should I also average the hours since they ask for average hours per week? So if I volunteered for 8 hours on 9th Oct 2010 it becomes 2 hours/week from Oct 2010 to Oct 2010? Any ideas?
