Okay so if we remove the only objective things about these specialties then we are left with only subjective stuff....

I would choose cardiology cause I don't like surgery.

well first i wanted CT surgery, and nothing but CT. but when i start to hear all that stuff about being a dead field and lots of procedures are now done by interventional cardiology. i started to reconsider my choice, why not cardiology. i love everything that is related to the heart(it's physiology,it's pharmacology, the complexity of congenital diseases...). and i don't know what will i be missing if i didn't chose the first or the 2nd.
I'm really in a big dilemma bcz those 2 have totally different roads: first IM path 2nd GS path. so i should make up my ming sooner.

There are several procedures that will never ever stop being used. It's true that their business isn't as good but there's most to CT surgeons than just bypasses and valves.

Transplants, for example.

Choose what your heart tells you.
