hi can u tel me if this word ""QUIET"" on LOR give a negative point about the applicant or is it okay?

please share ur views. thanks

It can mean two things:
It can indicate that you are polite and does not make troubles.
on the other hand
It can imply that you are inactive and shy.

Some PDs would look at it from the first angle while others would look at it from the other angle.

If you have other LoRs, better to use them. If you can ask the write to change it it's better.

But if you don't have these two choice, then just use it and hopefully things will go in the right direction.
