Default how much is considered a gap ?

I need an answer for this I might be take months bcz of my university delayed our diploma so residency position here ll be filled but this is beyond my control (in this time preparing for usmle step 1)

Oh btw. I had something similar. I finished my internship december 31. and got my diploma on february. in those 2 months i just took my well deserved vacation, had paperwork done and organized my class graduation ceremony. During my interviews nobody asked me to "explain that 2 month gap".

I dunno. Maybe 3? Unless they really want to scrutinize you. I think that any gap can be explained if they ever ask you about it. Some programs will even like you more if you have other stuff going on in your life besides medical work.
