Question Monitering your ERAS application

Hi all

I submitted my application yesterday. Is there any way to know if a certain program has already downloaded my profile or not?

and a second question : I am about to schedule my Step 3 exam in Nov. If I failed my exam, will this affect the decision of PD's to grant me a position ( by then i will have been granted almost all of the interviews so I guess that will not affect this decision right? )

Ofcourse just go to the Track Application section of ERAS and Use the Pulldown menu to select the program. You will be able to see which program has downloaded your application and which hasn't yet.

As for 2nd Qs i am also looking for its answer

Thanks for your reply

But i think what you are talking about shows if your application is AVAILABLE for programs to download, not if they already downloaded it

If u select a program from the drop down menu, it will show either the time when the program downloaded ur application or it will show not reviewed yet.

Good Luck Buddy. Although i believe we will get interview notifications only in late part of Sept because programs may have downloaded the applications but they still need to sort out and screen whom to send interviews. Each program downloads 1000's of applications but Interview calls are sent to a few 100. So keep your fingers crossed and Hope for the Best

Some programs like Baylor or Emroy for me for example downloaded my Application in first few hours of applying when my transcript whas not uploaded so my status with them after my transcript was available said " Not yet retrieved" ..

However i checked today some of them have already retrieved my transcript while others havent yet. E.g. Baylor retrieved my Transcript like 10 pm EST Lol

SO Relax and Yes they will retrieve your transcript soon.

That's the case with me too, and I think it is the case for all applicants because USMLE transcript is not processed untill you apply for programs and it needs sometime for processing for all applicants, so it does not make any since if they would not return to your application later
