Info info regarding applying as a couple ?

hi every1 can plz some 1 advice what's better to do when applying for match. Is it better to mention it in ur application. would it affect if one person has not cleared their CS and should they apply for same program or different meaning one in IM and the other one in FM..

THANK YOU need help ASAP.

Yes, you can apply to different programs and even different hospitals and different cities, for example you apply to Philadelphia and your partner apply to New Jersey, this way you can still live together.

It wouldn't decrease your chances, they interview each separately.

Yes, you can mention it.

In my experience, I've seen many couples doing it and they were not affected.
In fact, it's the reverse, experts say that couple matching increases the chances.
The NRMP specifically mentions that preference should be given to couples.
