Default last date for ck?

hello,

of those who have applied, I would like to know from your experience, when do you suggest is the last best date to give ck exam so that the results are out and updated before september 15, such that the applications to the programs are not affected in anyway.

could anyone of you share your experience if you have faced a similar situation before applying?

thanks,

Thanks,
But is there any delay in the results coming out?
According to you, if I write by mid July n the results come by Max august end, then I will be ecfmg certified n can apply by sept 15

But are the results delayed for test takers in june./July/ August?? I heard somewhere that for exams written in all these months, result is only out on sept 25?? Is that true...

for this last year (2014) the last date to get your results in august was 7/28 so you can receive it on the 8/21, but if you sat for the exam beyond that date you will be included in the usual delay by which getting your results around 9/25.

in response to your question it isn't true my friends and I all took our exam around 7/21-27 we all got our results in august.

I see. So does this keep changing every year?
How do we find out the situation for this year?

Yes the date changes but not much usually on a range of 7/27 to 7/31 but ECFMG announces it around May I guess.

That was helpful. Thank you. So best to write in the last 2 weeks of July.
Should I be looking for this information in the ecfmg news bulletin or somewhere else?

I guess they send out emails, In addition they will state it clearly in their website, to be safe, take your CK exam within the first two weeks of July.

Note: CS is a different scenario.

Yeah. Cs results take 3 months. Right? Is that what you mean?

Well, I really wish I can take it early. But my applying this year almost depends on ck. If I enough time to prepare and also getting a decent score in ck. If that doesn't happen, I'll have to only consider applying next year. I don't have enough time to study for ck.

CK is not step one, with only MTB2 and two question banks you can ace it, CS takes roughly 8 weeks when I did it I don't know about now.

Okay. I'll keep that in mind to give cs soon.

2 question banks like uworld and Kaplan? Uworld itself takes about 2 months.
I've heard for ck around 4 months of prep is good.
