Question Documents needed at the interview?

hey guys ...what papers should we prepare to bring to the interviews?? transcript or diploma ,or anything else??

In addition to what you mentioned above, they will need your ECFMG certification, and you have to bring any paper that they stated in the interview e-mail.

Residency programs differ in this regard.

Some of them require everything (medical school transcript, diploma, ECFMG certificate, photographs, visa/passport, IDs, ..etc)

Some of them do not require anything.

When you get an interview invitation, they'll tell you exactly what they need.

I am leaving for states in 2 weeks and have only 1 interview in hand. What all documents should I carry ? I don't want to miss out on anything.
Please advise.

  • Medical school transcript
  • USMLE Score Reports
  • Passport/Visa
  • Green Card
  • Driver License (if US issued)
  • Government issued ID
  • Final Medical Diploma
  • MSPE or Dean letter
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • CV
  • Copy of personal statement(s)
  • Photographs
  • Copies of publications
  • Awards and recognitions
  • CME credits certificates
  • Medical courses attended
  • ACLS/PALS certificates
Plus any other document you feel might be needed.

PS- Not all listed above is necessarily applicable to everyone.

Don't we mail our MSPE/transcipts to ERAS? I mailed in my originals...what do I do if they require me to bring it?
