It's statistically impossible for all of us to match.

Well, since we here only represent a minority inside the whole amount of IMGs who applied this year - statistically it is very well possible that everyone of us here matches

Find out if you match on Monday, March 16th. Where you're going on Friday, March 20th.

If you match then enjoy the next 3 days. If you don't then SOAP happens on Tuesday-Thursday inbetween.

I was offered a prematch on January 12 (my birthday ) and I accepted. I have many friends waiting for match day and even if I prematched I can feel how stressful is waiting.
To all the friends in this forum: Try to relax a bit (even if it's difficult), have faith and regardless of the outcome keep fighting.
To get to this point all of us have done a lot of hard work and sacrifices. Some of us were lucky to get a prematch but all of us deserve a chance. Keep dreaming and fighting to achieve your dreams.
My heart is with you

Congrats on your prematch bro (or sis). Yup this is truly so stressful, but to think of it everything is stressful in this line of work. Every exam in med school, every step after med school, all the waiting for results, all extremely stressful and we have came out on top of it...praying for the best in 2 weeks....

As these days pass by, the more anxious I become, hence my ongoing readings of the probability of matching or getting the top choice, I just can't wait to end this misery all together.

No more days, only hours to count.

Can we call it the most important day of our lives or will it be exaggeration?

I wasn't stressed out in all this time preceding the match however just hours away from the match result, I am too upset. I know there is 50:50 chance of matching and not matching but all I am thinking about right now is how will I take the news if God forbid I don't end up matched. I just can't take the anxiety any more and I know you guys are the only people in the world who know exactly the feeling. I know match is not the end of the world and I keep telling myself this but I can't help but feel like it is the end of the world.

FOr me its not 50;50 its 99,7 % 3 SD sthat I should match. I am starting independent life with two kids changing profession starting from ZERO. at 30 years of age. and there is no single chance that tomorrow I should come to the end of my life. I did too good for that

Guys, I just saw something on another forum that if you open your ADTS there is some change. Like before there were two columns in front of all programs we have applied-- available to programs and downloaded/retrieved by programs. But now there is only one, available to programs. Can you people check that whether it is same for everyone or it happened for some people?

In such circumstances, you deserve it more than everyone so I wish you the best of luck. They say that kids are blessing and I think it means that kids bring blessings with them. So get ready for being matched!!!!

There is only one column ''available to programs''.
What does that suppose to mean?

Yeah, and there were two columns before. It changed today. I don't know but it is not the same for all. Some people are saying that we still have two columns. I also wonder why it is not the same for all!

I wish I have that level of confidence in matching . However I did my best under my circumstances and hoping for the best result tomorrow .The best day of my life was definitely the day my son was born. Good luck everyone !!!!

There was a movie with Steven Seagal, released somewhere in 90th when I was in a high school. I think the name was "Hard to kill", although I am not sure.
Seagal's hero left a message on a mirror to a senator: "Anticipation of death is worse than death itself".

7 hours to go and no sleep at all

Ok. I am going to share my information:

I matched to IM. My credentials are Step 1: 213, Step 2 224, Pass CS First time, I have MPH and some publications. No US Clinical Experience. I work as a Biostatistician. I did 4 interviews only. I applied to 246 places (different specialties)

Oh I graduated in 2006. I'm 33 years old
