Default Can General medicine LoR can be used for FM application?

Hi seniors and those who are applying this year,

I want to know that can a lor written by professor of Medicine can be used for FM application. If possible , do he has mention anything supportive for that?

Hi, virtually speaking a LOR from any specialty can be used to any specialty in one condition that the LOR is not recommending you to a specific specialty but it is kind of general one. Although the writer don't need to mention specific thing but it is advicable to recommend you to residency in general (not to a specific specialty if you want to use it to multiple specialties).
