Help No interview calls yet despite these profiles?

Hi I am an international graduate who graduated in march 2010. My credentials are
step 1 228/98
step 2 246/99
step 2cs pass 1st attempt
step 3 awaiting results
USCE 3 months (1 month of externship)
2 published papers
1 paper presentation
3 research projects

I have applied for 101 IM programs and 32 EM programs on Sept 1st 2011. I haven't received any interview calls yet. Should I apply for more programs or wait for interview calls?

Mmm...two probabilities nothing else; The guys applied to high tier programs or they have some red flags in their CVs.
I will go with the first possibility, if you are scared about that, apply for mid & low tier programs.

Default Red flags in CV

I applied to 113 IM programs. Red flag in my CV is: I am an IMG with graduation 15 years back. I am aspiring for J1 or H1b visa, preferably the latter.

My credentials are 99/99/CS pass 1st attempt, USCE 3 mo, graduation 2011, and I only received 2 interview calls. People have been telling me I should receive like 20+ out of the 190 programs I applied to (mostly IM). So I'm quite disheartened!

Is this normal or should I expect more interview calls in this month and later?

Default Are the invites going to be sent in Oct?

Mercy has sent mail to all. Their invites and rejections have gone to all applicants. What is happening these days with programs? No invites and no denials. Don't know what to do!!!

Default Puzzled

What about those people getting 6, 8, and 10+ interview invitations?
I wish them good luck, but I'm just puzzled as to how better can one be than having double 99s, CS first attempt, recent graduation, and 3 months of USCE?

Does the medical school of graduation makes a difference? For instance, do they prefer European graduates?
