If you didn't save it in your computer, you may ask the ECFMG people to send you one copy. I believe there is a fee for that. Double check in your mail trash folder first.
I prematched and even if the people from the hospital at some point have to verify with the ECFMG, they asked me to take with me copies of the tests reports in between the other documentation I have to take to the GME department. You don't need it for your interviews. If you definitely lost it, call ECFMG 1(215)386-5900

Thumbs Down

You won't need your score report for anything. When you sign up to ERAS, you just confirm that ECFMG may release your scores to ERAS and everything happens electronically. You are never in the delivery chain of score reports, it always happens directly from authority to authority. This is one of the things I really like about the US system, it does not give one a chance to cheat by altering or falsifying documents.

Long story short: All good, relax

Edit: I don't know why it shows "thumbs down". Not my doing. If it was me, I would have picked: Heads up

I have been requested to bring a copy of my reports to the GME department during the hiring process.
ERAS sent my reports electronically to the programs I applied, but now that I am going to the Hospital where I prematched they asked me to bring a copy. So, you eventually will need it, even now in the "everything is electronic era"

Interesting, I did not know that and - frankly - it makes no sense.
But well, in the country where I live they still wanted to me bring a copy of my high school diploma in order to get the medical license although I couldn't even have gone to med school without that certificate.
Thanks for the clarification, but in this case it is certainly easily possible to get a score report from ECFMG.

It seems once we lose our usmle score report, it cannot be replaced.
However we may request the ECFMG for a USMLE Transcript which contains our score ..... but it doesn't show the individual performance analysis data like the score report.....

Would the residency programs accept a usmle transcript in place of a step 1 score report copy?

I still need to apply to electives.... The ones which require a step1 score ask us to upload the step 1 score report....... Would they accept a transcript?

I feel soooo stupid right now..........

Please could anyone give their input regarding this matter..... those who have gone for interviews.......please

My friend, I already told you that I didn't need to bring my score reports to my interviews. They already had the transcript from ERAS ( The fee this year for ERAS to send the transcript all to the programs we applied was $75)
Now the hospital where I prematched asked me to print my reports and bring it when I signed my contract. That's another story.
Call ECFMG directly and ask them how you can obtain a copy of your Step 1 report because you erased the email by mistake. Their number is 1(215)386-5900
Just call

If it is still within 3 months after your score became available, the report should be linked on your oasis. You can just log in and print it again.
