Default J1 H1 visa conversation

If you have the option of both J1 and H1 , which one would you choose and why?

Can you switch from J1 to H1 later if you change your mind?

Can you switch from H1 to J1 as well? ( to increase your chances of fellowships?

Choose H1 of course. And no, you can't switch from J1 to H1 unless you waive the 2 year home residency requirement, then apply for an H1.

You can't have both also
