Is it me or everybody think that it is about 2 weeks that most of the programs are silents?
So is there any chance that after program directors interviewed some of the applicants, they start to offer interview to us again?

Silence broken after 15 days. An acknowledgement from St. Elizabeth, Youngstown OH.
Still stuck at two interviews but I'll take the acknowledgement over the long silence.

Same here...it has been pretty quiet - especially in comparison from when the Match first opened up. I have a feelings things will be pretty quiet from now on. I get the occasional rejection in my inbox which gives me false hope every now and again haha. From what I have heard, you can potentially and will still get the occasional interview. Just keep in mind, most of the programs have probably sent out their invites for the applicants they were most excited about interviewing. Later interviews means you are their second choice and are likely filling in for an interviewer that has cancelled. This does not mean that you cannot match at that facility though, you just have to have a really good interview! Have to keep the faith!

Default Being proactive

It's likely that the initial round of interviews have been sent out and programs are filling all of their interview dates.

This doesn't mean you should sit back and do nothing. We recommend reaching out to program coordinators with an email addressed to the program director. It needs to be short but informative.

Dear Dr. XX,

My name is XYZ (ERAS: #######) and I want to take an opportunity to reaffirm my interest in your program. My XX interest in XX clinical space and my XX interest in the XX area of research make your program a unique fit for me. As an update to my application, I have submitted # articles to XYZ journal for consideration. Furthermore, I have a personal connection to the region with family that live nearby. Should there be any cancellations, I would welcome the opportuntiy to interview.

Sincerely,

<name>

Something like that above can make a difference. Even if this nets you 1 interview out of 100 emails, it is worth it.

Steve

I was told by a UNLV resident that the interview session starts in Nov. We are not their first choices.

You don't need to rank program as long as you don't like them. The interview is a process of mutual understanding and it is not compulsory to rank programs you have interviewed with.

Here is what I HEARD about University of Nevada Reno
IMG friendly, green card required, very friendly and nice PD.
Program expanding, a few additional spots will be available for PGY-2. So if you are in preliminary PGY-1, you may be get into the categorical track next year.

The same time with you (ie, early in the morning).
Hope it means that they are still processing instead of putting us on the waitlist.

Step 3 results take 3 to 4 weeks after the exam. Many Programs want their candidates to have step 3 before the Match Day i.e. Mar 18, 2016. So it will be good if you can finish you step3 by Feb 10,2016 to get the results on time for applying a H1 visa

anyone had his interview at Bronx Lebanon?

Could someone give me an idea about the interview day?

when did they start? when did they finish?

Do they offer the prematch directly after the interview or later ?

I noticed you received an invite from St. Agnes. How did it go if you don't mind sharing?

Well. This was last year. I had emergency situation last year that prevented me from attending most of my interviews and ended unmatched.
St. Agnes Interview was one of interviews I couldn't catch up

Thanks for the reply. How has this year been if you don't mind sharing? Your stats are like mine except for the YOG

Hey people. It's very quiet at my end. Got an email from the Southern Illinois University program in springfield telling me that my application is on "hold" and they might review it in December. Anyway, I have an IV coming up in a few days in Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn Newyork. Has anyone IV'd there yet? if so can you please share your experience with me? As in the questions asked? Most importantly were there any medical questions asked? Thanks. you can email me at shehzadpir@gmail.com. Appreciate it!

I didnt apply to this hospital but.. How did you find out about being on their waiting list?

Was the information emailed to you to give you a heads up? Or did you have to ask the program by calling them or by email?

They sent this:

'This is to inform you that your application has been placed on hold. Currently, we have 175 on hold applicants and they are in no particular rank order.

At this time, all of our interview days have filled. Since your application status is on hold, your application will still be in the review process if we have cancellations.'

This is a plea to those who have multiple interviews. If you don't plan on going for your interview or you don't intend to rank a program. Please cancel in advance so others whom are wait-listed and have no interviews can have a chance.

Thanks

Though this is a small sample size, i believe that this year has been much more competitive than last year beyond the usual progression
