The hospital is old and not clean ,, bad sign I think
The PD is cool and I liked him
The teaching schedule is good but the residents sounded weak
The best thing that half of the rotation will be mount siani hospital

What do you think about the program ???

I agree with you that the hospital is not that nice but I think that's typical for a community hospital in NYC.
Pros :
1. Strong affiliation with Mount Sinai School of Medicine
2. 12 months rotation/electives at Mount Sinai Hospital
3. Offers H1B visa
4. Very approachable, nice program director
5. Possibility of doing fellowship in Mount Sinai Hospital
6. Diverse population
7. Location : no other cities can beat NYC !!!, located in Queens which is better neighborhood comparing to other boroughs like Bronx and Brooklyn

Cons :
1. Concerning low board pass rate (62% in the past 3 years)
2. Huge workload
3. Not a fancy hospital like other hospitals in midwest
4. High living cost (but higher salary to compensate for that)

If you are offered a prematch, will you take it ?

Oh yeah, Queens is relatively safer comparing to Bronx and Brooklyn. That's my impression when I stayed in that area for almost a week.....
