Default Questions about LOR. Thanks in advance

Hello everybody

I will apply for Pathology this year. Now i have 3 letters.

1st is my current boss ( he is a residency/fellowship PD in Harvard/hospital, in surgery subspecialty, not pathology)

2nd is the chief of my department (also from Harvard/surgery subspecialty)

these two are waived and already uploaded to myeras by themselves.

The 3rd is from a pathologist (associated prof in Harvard). this is a only letter from pathology. But i reviewed this letter and have this letter in my hand (not waived). but the letter looks very strong.

I am wondering if the 3 letters ( 2 waived/ 1 non waived ) is good enough even though the 3rd letter is not waived ? i am a little worrying about the non-waived letter.

Thanks a lot

If your scores are solid for the field you're applying to, you have no red flags on your application and you have demonstrated an interest in the field, I wouldn't imagine having one non-waived letter could hinder your chances significantly. They may ask why it's not waived, but by the time they ask you that question, you've already made the initial cut of having your application reviewed. Good luck
