Question What to do after accepting a prematch?

Guys! I was offered a prematch 2 days ago through an email. I should be receiving an email soon with a paper to be signed and sent back (I don't know if its the contract or not).

My question is what else should be done after the prematch offer? when should I withdraw from the match? and how to inform the rest of programs that i have interview with?

Thanks alot! and good luck for everyone!

Most probably the program that offered you the prematch will ask you provide them a proof that you withdrew from the NRMP.

Just log in to your account in the NRMP website and find your way on how to withdraw and get the proof. Also read here http://www.nrmp.org/res_match/specia...hdraw_new.html

Make sure you get an offer from them before you withdraw (an official email from the program director is enough).

Once you accept the offer and withdraw from the match, contact the remaining interviews and tell them that you accepted a prematch offer.
