Help Looking for Psychiatry Match!

I am interested in doing my residency in psychiatry after finishing the steps. If I get into externship in psychiatry and have 2 publications in indexed journals will the chance increase?

Further if I have extra-curricular certificates, will it have a good impact, if so what type of certificates will be helpful (suppose I have only 8 certificates in undergraduates level, it it enough)

What's the duration of psychiatry residency programs?

What's the working hours, what's the remuneration?

Suppose I am having personality disorders/emotional issues but taking treatment for it, will my residency program be terminated??

Any sub-specialty fellowships and what's the eligibility

Externships, publications, and extra-curricular activities will all help.

The salary ranges between $40K to $50K per year.

The working hours is usually 60 to 70 hours per week.

If you have a significant personality disorder, you might get kicked off.

The length of residency is four years.

Fellowships are
Addiction Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Pain Medicine, and Neuropsychiatry.

Eligibility for fellowship is finishing psychiatry residency.

Generally speaking it's less competitive than other major residencies such as general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, neurology, and obgyn
