Listening US citizen but IMG

hey there, I am new to USMLE forums
I was just wondering if anyone had any idea about the chances of me ( a US citizen , IMG ) matching in general surgery .
I would appreciate any and all guidance.

The fact that you are a US citizen gives a great advantage in matching, but still to make it into general surgery, you really need high scores in both the steps (I'd say 230+) and you need great surgical US LoRs and some surgery USCE.

Work it up and you should get it.

Also have a look at the list of similar threads at the bottom of this page.
