Star Opinion about score for IM

Hello! this is my first time here and I want to ask a question. I want to apply for IM.

step 1: 227
cs: pass
ck: 255
step 3: not yet.
All of them in first attempt.
4 LOR (3 US and 1 from my country)
2 observers-hands on in the US
1 volunteer in the US
2 online peer review publication and 1 oral presentation
1 year internal medicine residency in my country
IMG, need visa.
grad 2011

What are the chances to get an interview?
thank you so much

Here is what Iíve gathered from what youíve provided:

Pros- above average Step 1 score, great Step 2 CK score, the 30 point jump in scores, no attempts, LoRs, USCE, prior residency experience, all of the volunteer/work experiences and publications, and fairly recent graduation
Cons- No visa, little US clinical experience

Overall, you have strong credentials as a medical residency candidate. Your USMLE scores are good enough to get you noticed and you have lots to add to your MyERAS Application.

That being said, you canít rely on just your credentials to get in. Your biggest hindrances are the lack of USCE and the need for a visa sponsorship. Strengthen your application with well crafted Personal Statements, a complete/error free MyERAS Application and putting your LoRs with the right programs. Also, be prepared to apply to at least 100 programs per specialty (over $2,000). Finally, research programs you will be applying to carefully so you know you meet their requirements.

If youíre proactive about your application preparations and smart about who you apply to, you have a strong chance at Matching.

Can you explain what you mean by IM residency in your country? Are you stating work at a hospital as Residency?
