Default apply for categorical and prelim

will it cost more money to apply for categorical and prelim of the same program? some programs have prelim and categorical IM in addition to neurology, all under the same program number.

In order to apply to a prelim or categorical track in the same program, you will need to apply to each separately in ERAS (each with its own fee).

Be careful and make sure your applications do not conflict with each other. For example, having Personal Statements that contradict each other.

Also, they both must be in the same specialty. Programs don't like it when you apply to more than one specialty in the same hospital. They want to see you are passionate about their specialty.
