Default Applying for different positions in the same prograam

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if I can apply for both Categorical and Preliminary position in the same program and the same specialty.
would that be advisable ?

The short answer is yes.

It does not hurt you to apply to Categorical and Prelim in the same problem. In fact, it can even show you are a flexible candidate.

Just be aware that if you choose to apply to more than one track per program, each track you apply to will be a separate application with a separate application fee.
