Default Apply after sep 15

Hi everyone! I intend to apply in this match..however I am facing a situation where one of my LoRs won't be uploaded by Sep 15. My question is, how important is it to apply on the 15th? Does it make a difference if I am 3-4 days late?

I'm in a similar situation. My LORs have all been uploaded but I'm not sure if they will be posted on my application in time for Sept 15th.

I am facing similar situation . My one im lor got uploaded on eras even though i uploaded 4 lors on the same day. . Does anyone know the process of uploading of documents to myeras ? i mean is it manual or automatic via computer software. I just hope they work on our documents this saturday and sunday ( not possible since eras is mon to friday open) . And monday is 14th septmeber. This means only one day left for them to do it.

Same here, 2 LORs were uploaded in ERAS in 2 days, others stuck for 5d+ for no reason. I think that yo run some risk no getting IVs in some community programs, because most of them do not wait for US MSPE to come.
Nobody has exact calculation how much it's gonna affect you. Personally, I do not think that delay 1-5 days matter, because, from my point of view, the program awaits certain pool of applicant(e.g 2000), then they run a filter - certain step scores, number of LORs, IMG/USMD. The most important question regarding this approach is how many applicants are required for the programs to run a filter? Do they run a filter constantly? If they do, how they decide whom to interview?
If you gonna apply without the minimal number of letters(3-4) you're most likely gonna be permanently screened out by the filter, unless you will specifically call the program and tell about your situation, however, I don't think that this viable strategy, considering the fact that you have to call to almost every program in your list to make sure you maximizing your chances.
The second option is to wait for the LORs to come. I think it's much better strategy if the LOR estimated uploading time is less than 5 days. You still have a chance of being interviewed at the programs. Also, I think that the second strategy is better when you're 'above average' applicant - good scores, USCE, early YOG, publications. Considering the fact that most university programs send IVs in the begging of October.
In the end, I think if you consider yourself as an average/below average applicant you should apply at September 15-17th, if the program specifically states it wants 3 LORs which you don't have - make a call/email to them. If you consider yourself as above average/excellent applicant - you can wait up to 1-2 weeks.
