Default J-1 and H1b preffered over US citizens/Green card for IMG

This is in reference to unfair treatment by ECFMG and US hospitals selecting J-1/H1 IMG's over US citizen/Greencard IMG for residency programs offered in US hospitals. US citizen and Green Card holders should be preferred over J-1/H1B IMG's who are competing with US citizens and i think it is unfair. If US citizen is ECFMG certified irrespective of scores, he should be preferred over foreign national IMG seeking J1/H1B. If seats remain unused after filling all US citizens, its only then J1/H1b should be considered. We should bring this to the attention of USCIS and seek legal action against ECFMG and hospitals sponsoring such candidates. This can be brought to attention in media exposing unjust met to US citizens and green cards. It is our country and we should get first priority over foreign nations, be it training in medical programs or Jobs!

It is law of the land and i request all foreign nationals to be cognizant of the fact that hated response to this post would not be fair, so foreign nationals please no comments!

I can see desperation in every word here. Knowledge and ability will eventually win. And BTW I am not an American and I disregard your plea for no comments.

Is is law of the land that Americans be preferred over foreign nationals when it comes to Jobs, trainings etc. Ofcourse there is no desperation here as we are ECFMG certified with top scores, this J1 trend was highlighted to put light on improper practices that some hospitals follow that will be brought to attention to higher authorities. There is something similar happened with H1b few years back and once it was brought to attention of law makers, they pretty much scrapped this program with 1 in 4 applicants being considered.

USMG would have no issues, i was highlighting such practices in some of the cases where few IMG American applicants had faced such issues in past, i personally faced no issues.

Adam this post and thread is obviously not important here especially with a huge percentage of us here being non USA img. But even more baseless is the fact that u don't have the facts and figures in an evidence based discourse. Well, I think well-meaning members here will genuinely feel hated by your submission.
I have seen countless programs who only take green card holders and USA imgs without sponsoring visa of any kind. What do u say about that? The point is, u got it all wrong because most programs rather prefer USA img and green card holders so please give us a break here. U may still want to pursue the legal issues but know that citizens are preferred in all regards. Programs among all other things even think native Americans have better command on English than non Americans making them like citizens. So please save us the time from this. Becos the application season is giving almost all of us headache already and adding this issue won't help anybody. Good luck.
