Question IMG Radiology Resident looking for Radiology!

i scored 210 in step 1 and i'm a radiology resident in my country .. i wanna know do i have a chance for radiology in USA with my step 1 score and if not what kind of residency i could get with my step 1 score??..and would getting a Master degree in radiology would help me getting residency in USA in IM for example??

hey buddy , dont know much but you can directly do fellowship i USA after all your steps in radiology .. its the only field with this option and then you will also be counted as radiologist in USA .. it called the alternate route , i read this on this forum ... search it by typing radiology and you will find it ...

or ask sabio the forum staff , they will help you ...

other wise radiology and IM are difficult with this score , you may get into Im if you do a year of externships ...

Hi, your score is not competitive enough for radiology but you can still get into IM, FM or psych residency. I advice you to work on getting observerships to make your profile stronger.
