Default Would being a TA in a clinical research course help my resume?

I have been invited to be a TA in an clinical research education program of Harvard University. This is a voluntary work and it can take me 10 or more hours per week of dedication. Before commiting to being a TA I would like to know if that will be helpful (and how helpful) in my resume or if it will only take time from my study for the USMLE

P.S.: I have been Site Monitor of this Harvard program in my country for two years.
