Question High scores with no USCE!

Do high scores with no USCE or us lor "guarantees" match?
by high scores i mean in 260s or plus.
said otherwise, does getting high scores overrules the need for doing USCE and getting us LoR/research.

There's no rule my friend.

Some program directors do cherish high scores to the extent that they ignore anything else while some program directors look at the profile as whole and would really like to see US LoRs and USCE.

If I have to choose between scores and USCE, I'd probably choose scores specially for less than 2 years graduates. But again, you can not separate the issue, both of them are needed.

I just don't understand why people with 250+/240+ ask whether they will get matched. These are high scores and will get you early interviews, for IM, if you applied early and broadly, you probably have 4-5 IVs by now. Which is a lot more compared to people who don't have your scores.

well, i don't know what programs you applied for. from what I know, people with 240+/240+ and 1 months USCE all got at least 2 ivs by now. So, either you simply just applied to more competitive programs or you have some major flaw in your package.

sorry man, you have great scores. i can only interpret your situation this way
