Default get EAD before interview or after being matched

hi, good morning, guys.

My visa status is eligible for applying EAD.
I wonder do I need to get it before Sep (which is before doing the interview) ?
If there is anything I need to fill in (like the code or something) on ERAS?
and will the PD ask to see your EAD when they interviewing you as a proof?
or they just need to know that we will have it when starting the residency next July?

Thank you.

Hey,
Please get your EAD before September because when you fill in your visa status in your application, if you put in EAD you will get more interviews . A few programs do ask the EAD card copy during interviews, but most donot.
