You can ask your dean to give you one at any time preferably now just to make sure you have it early in your hands. It is not important for the IMGs however it is just considered a paper that makes your application looks complete comparing it to the AMGs application. I have sample of dean letter for IMG and also LORs posted on my site.

Just checked the form posted on your website. I found it very concise. It doesn't mention the unique characteristics of the applicant or his/her academic progress. I understood from what you said, that the program directors probably don't look at the MSPE.. am i right?

The details of student performance is listed in the AMGs MSPE not the IMGs. You will never find an IMG school form much different from that I posted. MSPE plays an important role for AMGs as it is one of the determinants for selection, however for IMGs the USMLE scores are the base. They do look as it but it has no weight, even if you didn't submit an MSPE your chances don't change.

Just in case, everything you need to know about the MSPE and ERAS is available at:
http://www.ecfmg.org/eras/applicants...ents-mspe.html

The MSPE is an evaluation of your academic career in medical school, therefore it does not include the USMLE Step Scores (those will be on your USMLE Transcript).

Your answer is not clear to me . I know what is MSPE
My question was can my medical school upload it to my ECFMF site after I graduate from medical school but before I take my usmle steps test
I only applied to ecfmg and had an ID number but I did not take a test yet
Thanks

Of course it can, the MSPE has nothing to do with your steps.

Good luck.

I did my medical school overseas and graduated with an M.D
To get a license to practice in that country I have to do an extr year
