ERAS application and CK score in October

Hi guys!
I have a small query. So the ERAS application deadline this year is 15th September. I am yet to do my CK. Done with CS and Step 1.
I want to know when is the latest I can take my CK exam considering 15th Sept is the deadline? I have heard that PD don't start going thru applications before 1st October. So does that mean I can do my exam by 30th August?
Considering it takes 3-4 weeks to get the result.

There's no fixed rules when program directors start looking at applicants profiles, they may do it on September 15 and they may do it as far as December!

But, this year, since there's a delay in ERAS and CS results, I would think that applying as late as early October is absolutely safe.

Hey i'm in the same situation, i take CS this month, and plan to take CK .. i repeat PLAN, in AUG, just don't know when in AUG, ideally it should be first week, so that results came by the end of the month, and exactly 2 weeks after be certified. But as i learned this process is not always as planned. So i'm just planning ahead, and want to search more for the most efficient less time consuming and affective plan for CK .. i was searching more info for Kaplan's intense prep course online, it's only 1 month and they give you the latest kap lecture notes, but that's it , no more info. Let me know what will be your plan of attack

i will take cs on june 20
so my result will be on october
should i apply on sep 15 or wait till the result on october to start to apply
the problem also is i am an old IMG
or should i fight to find a place for cs this may

If you can get an earlier CS date that would be great.
Otherwise, you'll get your CS results on October 3rd, I suggest you wait until then and apply so that residency program coordinators will see a complete profile.
Many applicants will be late this year because of the delay in CS scores so you won't be at great disadvantage.
